Movements reconstructed through found imagery projected from a videojukebox-like machine’. Originally Diorama Mechanica is an installation containing a collection of different short videoworks of animated vintage images, that I selected and cutted during a performance called Wunderkammer. These images of the creation process – I call them performéances -, are the residu of this performance held to invoke the spirit of creation. This performéance also resulted in a manifest-like text called Diorama. For the presentation of Diorama Mechanica on the Brains Unlimited exhibition I created some illustrations on this proces.

In time this collection of videoworks has grown and has been presented in different ways, so that now the title Diorama Mechanica stands for the collection of video works.
